Project LUCID

System Navigation Toolkit & Training

To complement the environmental scan and needs assessment, and provide additional means to achieve the project’s overarching goal to improve re-entry outcomes, we have begun development of a system navigation toolkit and training series.

The purpose of the toolkit and training series is to build the capacity of (a) service providers across sectors (e.g. housing, employment, education, etc.) to design and deliver ‘re-entry friendly’ programs, services, and supports; and (b) remanded, provincially-sentenced, and recently-released populations, in the GTA, to navigate the justice system as well as the range of programs, services, and supports potentially available to them — and in the longer term, benefit from the increased capability of service providers to address their particular needs.

This project is funded and supported by the City of Toronto.
